My travels and work, too, have taken me to places that in hindsight might have warranted a bit more consideration. The Tunisian uprising and Israel's war with Hezbollah are just a few examples that got me thinking if there's really anything wrong with the Canary Islands and their English menus with colour photos... The time I spent working in the West Bank was probably the most challenging endeavour.
